I grew up in the colour and energy of Kolkata, and found a different kind of comfort in the quiet of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
After moving to the UK in 2024, I brought those two worlds together in Root & Still: a love of craft, and a wish for home to feel a little calmer.

A closer look
The work behind
the stillness.
Our wooden Buddhas, angels and decorative pieces are sourced from Indonesia, where skilled artisans carve and finish them by hand. We choose each piece for its workmanship, natural texture and individual character.
